Having recently been sick with sarcoidosis [again!], I was running the gamut of drinks that will help to keep the copious thick phlegm from constantly making me cough. Acidic based drinks seem the only thing that really helps.
Having given up sodas years ago, I turned to carbonated waters.

Found at Sam's Clubs and Walmart stores, this drink is 0 calories, 0 fat, 0 sodium, 0 carbs, and 0 caffeine!
And the taste is superb!
Do be forewarned for those who cannot use aspartame, that this does contain that artificial sweetener. However, I think for those of you who can tolerate aspartame, you will find this a tasty choice for consumption over ice, or straight.
I've packing a bottle to take to work with me, and helps get me through the day, keeping me hydrated, and keeping that nasty phlegm from controlling my day!
I give CLEAR AMERICAN 5 stars and a thumbs up!
